A vacancy exists within our Engineering Department for a Financial Business Analyst. The individual will be a part of a newly formed department on site. This is a contract role of an initial 6 month duration.
Major/Key Accountabilities
- Review and monitor monthly budget of the Site Engineering Department. Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports and KPIs.
- Monitor spend trends and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Lease with Finance Business Partner to resolve any queries.
- Cost Champion for the department.
- Generate reports for the functional managers.
- Ensure compliance with local site finance procedures.
- Identify and deliver opportunities for streamline the process.
- Coach Engineers and departmental personnel on business financial principles.
- Deliver period end financial reporting transactions.
Qualifications:
- Must have as a minimum a 3rd level qualification in a relevant business/financial field.
- Minimum of 2 years Experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Essential to have good knowledge of JD Edwards financial Business Reporting Software.
- A proactive and intelligent individual who is quick to grasp new ideas and concepts and perform effectively under pressure and changing circumstances
- A continuous improvement approach
