Finance Manager





This is a true partnering role to the business and will involve delivery of contracts and new business.





Your main responsibilities as Finance Manager will involve:



  • Supporting and partnering with the business as appropriate to generate the forward business plan and ensure all financial and operational targets are achieved



  • Mobilisation of new contracts in support of the transition from bid to contract delivery



  • Collaboration with Customers and Partner Companies



  • Leading the delivery of all internal and external reporting requirements as required



  • Preparing, reviewing and challenging the 5 Year Business Plans (Budgets) including assumptions, risks and opportunities and bridging to previous submissions



  • Preparing, reviewing and challenging the Monthly Forecasts including assumptions, risks and opportunities and explanation of forecast movements



  • Ensuring all bids are subject to the appropriate financial challenge and in line with business process



  • Proactively seeking to improve local processes and working practices to drive efficiencies across the team



  • Focusing on maintaining and improving financial controls



  • Supporting Internal and External Audit activity and ensuring a robust control environment is in place



  • Managing and functional leadership for a team of qualified/part qualified/accountants







Your skills and qualifications as a Finance Manager:



Must be CIMA, ACA or ACCA Qualified



Preferably have experience as a Finance Business Partner engaging with non-Finance staff and providing decision support to stakeholders - demonstrating business acumen



Experience of people management and development preferable
