Morgan McKinley have been exclusively retained to support a new entrant to the Irish market as they continue to build and grow their operations in Dublin. This well-established, U.S HQ Technology Company, are recruiting an Indirect Tax Senior Analyst/Manager, to report directly to the International Head of Tax.

We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude, is an independent thinker, and can adapt to changes quickly in a growing startup environment. You like to figure things out and know how to put things in order. You certainly don't believe in rounding up or down for convenience. You're the type of person who can mentally split a restaurant bill for twenty in mere seconds, without breaking a sweat and you'd rather read a good spreadsheet than a novel. You will be joining a team of dedicated individuals who are passionate about numbers, working to eliminate the inefficiencies surrounding the manual processes. This position will also have the opportunity to work with the finance teams in other countries on a regular basis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage indirect tax requirements in a multi-national environment.
  • Support the business operations as related to indirect taxes
  • Support the tax reporting and external audit processes as it relates to indirect taxes
  • Work closely with the finance & billing teams on group processes
  • Work closely with business support teams on customer queries
  • Assist with the implementation of new systems and documentation procedures to enhance processes surrounding indirect taxes
  • Manage indirect tax compliance processes for the group
  • Work on ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 year's PQE
  • Ideally Big 4/Top 10 trained with AITI/CTA/ACA/ACCA qualification
  • Experience working with a large international technology or SaaS company is preferred
  • Must be able to work effectively with colleagues from different countries and time zones via conference calls, emails, and instant text messages
  • Ability to work independently
  • Very strong organizational skills with attention to details
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated, professional and hard working
